Gray got his start making short films in high school, having his first film featured at SXSW. Graduating from film school led to work opportunities in New York, Los Angeles, and London. He continued to produce his own narrative shorts while moving into the commercial and professional space, primarily working in reality television and documentaries.

After moving back to Dallas, he found opportunities to work on the camera team for feature films. His primary role is pulling focus and operating drones. He has worked on feature films in Arkansas, Texas, and Montana.

In his free time, he likes to cook, photograph Dallas, and dj parties under the pseudonym Disco Delirium.
